Vivo Y19C 2020

Vivo has never been the company to offer its clients a smartphone that is cost-effective. The Vivo Y91c 2020, their most recent product, imitates the same. Although it has a large battery and a fashionable look, the chipset and software are old. The Vivo Y91c 2020 is currently available in Nepal for a low cost.

In terms of specifications, the phone has a 6.22-inch HD+ display. A 5MP f/1.8 camera is housed in the notch with a water drop design. A 13MP f/2.2 sensor and an LED flash are located on the rear. The processor in charge is the MT6762R, and 2GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage support it.

The gadget is powered by a big 4030mAh battery, and Funtouch OS 4.5 is installed on top of Android 8.1 to handle software functions. A headphone jack and a USB 2.0 port are available. It includes GPS, OTG compatibility, smart wake, Bluetooth 4.2, a 2.4G capable Wifi adaptor, Bluetooth 4.1, and eye protection mode.

There should be three color options for the phone: Fusion Black, Ocean Blue, and Sunset Red. Additionally, a protective shell and a protective film are included in the box. So, is the Y91c worth Rs 16,790 as a purchase price? Currently, the Samsung Galaxy M10 makes a much stronger argument for itself. Alternatively, you could spend a little more money and strive for the Samsung Galaxy M20.

Vivo Y11

To its never-ending list of smartphone launches, VIVO has recently released another device. Vivo has already introduced another low-cost smartphone in Nepal just a few days after the debut of the V17 Pro. The VIVO Y11 2019 is an updated model of the first VIVO Y11 released in 2014. In Nepal, the Vivo Y11 costs Rs 17,990.

The phone’s design is similar to that of the majority of lower-midrange smartphones. The dual vertical cameras on the left and the fingerprint sensor in the center give it the “Glastic” appearance on the back.

It has a drop-down notch on the front, where the front camera is located. The VIVO Y11 has a 6.35″ HD+ (720p resolution) screen up front. Although the bottom chin does fill in some space, the front still feels and looks streamlined.

The VIVO Y11 has a Snapdragon 439 CPU inside, along with 3GB of mediocre RAM and 32GB of internal storage. To be honest, the setup as a whole is rather standard. The VIVO Y11 appears to run FunTouch OS 9.1 on top of Android 9.

In the device’s back, there is a twin camera arrangement with a 13MP camera in the middle. A 2MP depth sensor and a fingerprint sensor are attached to it. On paper, the setup appears to be adequate, but we won’t know for sure how excellent it is until we see the actual gadget. An 8MP sensor with an AI beauty function is housed in the frontal V portion.

The 5000mAh battery underneath this device keeps everything together. This battery system should easily last more than a day when combined with a power-efficient processor. With a MicroUSB cord, the phone can support 10W, which is respectable.

Therefore, based on its overall specifications, this phone is nothing special. The 5000mAh battery is unquestionably impressive and is likely one of the reasons why this phone could succeed in this market. This phone would have been much better off with a slightly faster processor and the 4/64GB variant.

Vivo Y12s

The 6.51-inch IPS LCD on the Vivo Y12s has an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720. The selfie camera is hidden by a waterdrop notch on top of the Halo FullView display. It’s easy to see the bezels around the screen. On the lower chin, it is more significant. When activated, the device’s protective mode filters out dangerous blue radiation.

The rear panel features a gradient finish and comes in the colors Phantom Black and Glacier Blue. A left-aligned vertical camera module with an LED finish is present. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also a feature of the phone.

The MediaTek Helio P35, which is already two years old, powers the Y12s. Other smartphone makers have switched to Helio G-series chipsets, even at this price point, because they are better suited for gaming. In light of this, only a single memory combination of 3/32GB will be offered for the phone. An external microSD card can be used to increase storage space. For better resource management (RAM, Network, CPU, and GPU) during gaming, Vivo has added Multi-Turbo 3.0.

The phone’s rectangular camera module at the back contains two vertically stacked camera sensors. The primary camera in the dual-camera arrangement is 13MP. It features an f/2.2 aperture. A 2MP depth sensor (f/2.4) is included. An 8MP selfie camera with an f/1.8 aperture is located up front. The Face Wake function also makes use of it.

A micro USB connector is used to recharge the 5,000mAh battery of the Vivo Y12s. There is no rapid charging available, but if you wish to charge other devices, it allows 5W reverse charging. Using Android 10, FunTouch OS 11 is preinstalled on the phone. Both Bluetooth 5.0 and dual-band Wi-Fi are supported.

Vivo Y20

The new Snapdragon 460 is found in the Vivo Y20, the company’s first smartphone to utilise it. It is an 11nm node-based, octa-core chipset. Eight Kryo 240 cores are present. Adreno 610 handles graphics and includes support for Vulkan 1.1. The Y20 offers 64GB of storage and 3 or 4GB of RAM in terms of memory.

It has a 6.51-inch HD+ Halo Full View display with a 20:9 aspect ratio for the display. On the rear, a sunrise image with rays coming from the camera bump is depicted. Obsidian Black and Dawn White are the only two color choices that are offered in Nepal. On the side is where the capacitive fingerprint sensor is located.

The Vivo Y20 has a triple camera arrangement at the back for photographic purposes. A depth sensor, a macro sensor, and a 13MP main sensor are included. 2MP sensors are used by both auxiliary lenses. This configuration is a significant reduction in comparison to the Vivo Y19. First, the primary sensor’s megapixel count has been decreased from 16MP to 13MP. The 8MP ultra-wide camera has also been replaced with a macro sensor.

Instead of the 16MP camera on the front like the Y19, there is an 8MP sensor for selfies. The smartphone has a sizable 5,000mAh battery. The Vivo Y20 will also allow rapid charging at up to 18W, much like its predecessor. The device will come pre-installed with Funtouch OS 10.5 based on Android 10.

Vivo Y20s

In this case, the Vivo Y20s is essentially a copy of the Y20. The memory configuration is the only thing that is different in this situation. The Y20 had a maximum storage capacity of 4/64GB, but the device is currently offered in the 4/128GB variant. The Snapdragon 460, which was unveiled last year, powers the phone. The chipset can handle routine duties, however, it is not even close to the Helio G80/G85 that is available in this price range.

The 6.51-inch HD+ screen on the Vivo Y20s has a 20:9 aspect ratio. The front camera is located in a waterdrop notch on the top of the device. The phone from Vivo offers an Eye Protection Mode that shields the user’s eyes from dangerous blue light. There are two color possibilities for the Y20s: Obsidian Black and Purist Blue.

The smartphone sports a triple camera arrangement on the rear. Here, the main camera has a 13MP sensor. A 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera are attached to it. An 8MP camera for selfies is located on the front.

The phone has a 5,000mAh battery to power it. The addition of 18W FlashCharge support completes it. The phone contains a micro USB connector for data transfer and charging. The phone supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity. For biometric purposes, there is a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Vivo Y30

Featured on the Vivo Y30 is a 6.47-inch LCD display. The capacitive multi-touch panel has a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels (HD+). The front camera is hidden in a tiny circular notch on the upper left corner of the Ultra O screen. Similar to that, this one has a screen-to-body ratio of 90.7%. Vivo features a feature called Eye Protection that can shield users from the negative effects of blue radiation.

The rectangular camera module and a capacitive fingerprint reader are visible on the rear. It’s interesting that there are three color options available for the 3D design rear panel: Emerald Black, Dazzle Blue, and Moonstone White. While the latter has a completely distinct pattern from the first two, they just differ in color.

The smartphone’s interior isn’t as attractive as its exterior. For a phone that costs more than Rs. 20,000, Vivo includes the MediaTek Helio P35, a subpar chipset. Graphics processing will be handled by the PowerVR GE8320 GPU. Users can select between 4GB of RAM or either 64GB or 128GB of storage.

Vivo’s Multi-Turbo 3.0 now features Vivo Process Guardian technology for improved performance. It employs AI turbo for decision-making and Center turbo to plan core system resources for maximum speed. The Process Guardian will be able to anticipate irregularities brought on by outside applications and stop them before they start.

Vivo also has a special gaming mode called Ultra Game Mode that enables screen recording while playing games and disables auto-brightness with a feature called Brightness Lock.

The Vivo Y30 has a quad-camera configuration with a 13MP main camera on the back. There includes a 2MP camera (2cm) for macro photography and an 8MP camera (120-degree FOV) for wide-angle photography. A 2MP depth sensor is also included for bokeh (background blur) in portrait pictures.

Vivo Y51

A 6.58-inch LCD screen with FHD+ resolution is included with this new gadget. The 6.38-inch AMOLED display of the Y51, which debuted in September, was in contrast. Additionally, this one lacks an in-display fingerprint sensor. Instead, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor is present. The 16MP sensor and f/2.0 aperture are identical in the selfie camera. And the waterdrop notch contains it.

The gadget is powered by a Snapdragon 665 SoC. The processor is enhanced with 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. Additionally, the new Vivo Y51 has a battery capacity of 5000mAh as opposed to 4500mAh in the variant released in September. Through the USB Type-C connector, the battery is compatible with 18W fast charging.

Changes have also been made in the camera department. A triple camera arrangement resembling that of the Vivo X50 series is present on the most recent Y51. The 48MP primary lens, 8MP ultra-wide lens, and 2MP macro lens are all part of one camera module. The prior model, however, featured a quad-camera configuration in addition to a 2MP depth sensor.

Last but not least, the most recent Y51 uses Funtouch OS 11 over Android 11 instead of Funtouch OS 10, which was based on Android 10.

Vivo Y53s

A 6.58-inch IPS LCD display is available on the Vivo Y53s. For the selfie camera, this FHD screen sports a waterdrop notch. It also boasts a reasonable 120Hz touch sampling rate and a 60Hz refresh rate.

The MediaTek Helio G80 CPU, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 128GB of extendable internal storage are all found inside the Vivo Y53s. The Helio G80 is an entry-level chipset that can be found in the recently released Galaxy F22, which has a starting price of NPR 20,499 and is a sub-20K smartphone from Poco.

So, to say that this phone is expensive would be a gross understatement. On the other hand, the Y53s also benefits from Vivo’s Extended RAM function, which substitutes 3GB of internal storage for temporary RAM when the system calls for it.

Triple cameras are housed inside the rectangular camera module at the back. Another midrange Vivo Y-series phone, the Y53s, has sacrificed the ultrawide camera. The main camera in this instance has a 64MP sensor.

Additionally, it has Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS). A 2MP macro and 2MP monochrome lens are added to this. Within the teardrop notch up front is a 16MP selfie camera.

The Vivo Y53s is powered by a sizable 5000mAh battery. Through the USB Type-C port, 33W fast charging is supported. Vivo also makes significant promises about the phone’s audio configuration.

The Super Volume of its speakers is up to 94 dB. With Super Audio 2.0, the phone automatically modifies the sound depending on the usage scenario.

Vivo V19

The Vivo V19, which was unmasked as the V17 last month and released in Indonesia, shares many of the same specifications. The Vivo V19, which was introduced in Nepal, is a little different.

With a maximum brightness of 1200 nits and a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, it features a brilliant screen. It also has an in-display fingerprint reader, just as the AMOLED-paneled devices. Additionally, it adopts the same placement strategy for the front camera. A dual 32MP + 8MP selfie camera is hidden behind a little punch-hole on the right upper corner of the display. For group selfies, the secondary 8MP camera has an incredibly wide-angle lens.

The quad-rear cam is configured in an L-shape, next. The 48MP main lens, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensors are all present. A variety of features, like Super Night Selfie, Posture Guidance, and others, are included with the camera.

The Snapdragon 712 SoC powers the Vivio V19’s internal components. Furthermore, it only offers an 8GB RAM option. However, you have two choices in terms of storage: 128GB and 256GB. In Nepal, only the 128GB model has been released. Additionally, the tablet ships with Funtouch OS 10, which is based on Android 10. A sizable 4500mAh battery that supports 33W flash charge 2.0 is also used to power the gadget. According to Vivo, the V19 can be charged from 0% to 54% in just 30 minutes.

Vivo V20 SE

The 6.44-inch AMOLED screen of the Vivo V20 SE has a notch that houses the front camera. The device boasts a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 and a screen-to-body ratio of 90.12%. The display similarly covers 103% of the NTSC gamut. The Vivo V20 SE is 7.83mm thick and weighs about 171g.

The V20 SE’s body is composed of polycarbonate, as opposed to the more expensive V20 Pro’s AG Glass design. For a better grip, Vivo chose a 3D curved body. Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue are the two color options for the smartphone.

The phone features a Snapdragon 665 processor. The device’s inclusion in the Geekbench listing served as the first piece of evidence for the octa-core processor. With 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, this 11nm-based processor is supported. Vivo has included a Multi-Turbo capability to boost the performance even more. It contains a number of technologies for hardware and software optimization, including Ai Turbo, Game Turbo, Cooling Turbo, Center Turbo, and ART++ Turbo.

The Vivo V20 SE has three cameras placed up at the back. A 48MP primary camera takes the lead, and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera follows. It also functions as a macro camera. A 2MP depth sensor is present as well. Within a camera bump that is rectangular in shape, the three sensors are positioned vertically. The device’s 32MP selfie camera is hidden under the waterdrop notch on the front of the device. To enhance selfies taken in the dark, it supports Vivo’s Super Night Selfie and Softlight band.

The 4,100mAh battery on the Vivo V20 SE is respectable and supports 33W flash charging. The manufacturer states that after 30 minutes of charging, the device can be charged up to 62%. There are eight different degrees of protection for the battery. The fingerprint reader is located underneath the display. Dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C, and OTG support are additional features.

Vivo V20

The 6.44-inch FHD+ panel of the Vivo V20 is the same as the one on the Pro model. It has an AMOLED panel with a 408PPI pixel density. It has a 20:9 aspect ratio and is a tall gadget. The panel’s quoted contrast ratio is 2000000:1. But there is one distinction between the front of the standard and Pro models.

The vanilla V20 has a waterdrop-shaped notch in place of the typical iPhone-like notch found on the Vivo V20 Pro. Other than that, the gadget sports a 7.38mm thickness and a 2.5D curved design. The phone weighs about 171 grams as well.

Both phones have the same appearance from the back. The back panel of the Vivo V20 also has AG Matte Glass, which has been chemically etched to lessen scratches and improve grip. Vivo has put an AF coating to the top of the panel to reduce the likelihood of smudges and fingerprints. The three color choices for the device are Midnight Jazz, Moonlight Sonata, and Sunset Melody.

The Vivo V20 sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor within. It is obviously inferior than the 765G with 5G capabilities in the Pro model. Even so, Qualcomm’s Elite Gaming Technology is only partially supported by the 720G, a mid-range chipset with a gaming emphasis. The gadget will only be offered with an 8GB RAM and 128GB internal storage capacity option.

We can see the triple camera setup’s rectangular camera bump in the back, which was inspired by the X50. The Vivo V20 Pro’s camera specifications apply to this device as well. There is a 64MP primary camera and an 8MP multi-purpose camera in question. The latter has a 108-degree FOV and can capture wide-angle images (after considering the distortion). It can also be used to take macro pictures of items that are up to 2.5 cm away.

A 2MP monochrome sensor makes up the third sensor. The system employs it for the Art Portrait Video, in which the subject’s colors are preserved while the background is changed to black. Super Night Mode, Tripod mode, Smart Zoom, and Motion focusing are supported by the back camera.

Vivo V21 SE

The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage Vivo V21 SE model. The newest smartphone from Vivo has incredible features and is quite affordable in Nepal. Gravity Black and Oxygen Blue are available as color options for the Vivo V21 SE. Because of the device’s internal specifications, screen size, camera configuration, battery life, and Vivo V21 SE mobile performance, Vivo enthusiasts highly praise it.

The Vivo V21 SE camera configuration consists of a 32 MP front-facing camera and a 48 MP triple back camera. Vivo V21 SE’s display has a 6.44″-inch screen and supports resolutions up to 1080×2400 pixels. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset and Adreno 610 GPU are the foundation of the Vivo V21 SE’s performance. 4100 mAh is the battery capacity of the phone.

Vivo V21

The 6.44-inch FHD AMOLED screen on the Vivo V21 has a waterdrop notch. It is a Samsung E3 panel with support for HDR10+ content and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The display has a standard brightness of 500 nits and a maximum brightness of 800 nits when using High Brightness Mode (HBM). This screen conceals an in-display fingerprint scanner as well because it is an OLED panel. However, I believe the notch looks inappropriate on a phone in this price range.

Like its predecessor, Vivo used an AG Matte Glass design for the rear. Here, the thickness and weight change depending on the available color selections. In comparison to the Sunset Dazzle and Arctic White alternatives, which measure 7.39mm thick and weigh 177 grams, the Dusk Blue model is slightly thinner (7.29mm) and lighter (176gm).

Moving forward, the Dimensity 800U CPU powers the Vivo V21. It is a 7nm-process-based MediaTek chipset. Six Cortex-A55 (2.0GHz) and two Cortex-A76 (2.4GHz) CPU cores are present. The Mali-G57 GPU is in charge of the graphics.

Both the 4G and 5G versions of the V21 are offered on the global market; the only difference between them is their network connectivity. The 4G version of the phone is being shipped here by Vivo Nepal. It comes pre-installed with the most recent Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.

It has 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of UFS 2.2 storage on the memory front. According to Vivo, its Extended RAM capability can use internal storage to extend RAM by up to 3GB. A micro SD card can also be used to increase the internal capacity, although doing so will prevent the V21 from supporting two SIM cards.
